I’m not sure where I stumbled upon this one. When I first read about it, I figured that this is primarily a female fetish. Then I found out about the Alfred Hitchcock movie “Marnie”. I think they’re playing on the fetish, but the actual fetish itself is arousal from being robbed, not robbing.
Harpaxophilia may also play into voyeurism, based on what I’ve read in erotic literature. Before breaking in, the robber watches the female undress. Usually, in the literature, the female is at home alone and a male sneaks into her house and robs (and sometimes rapes) her. The female is inexplicably aroused by this.
Fetish Friday – Ursusagalmatophilia
0Ursusagalmatophilia (I can’t even type that out, I had to copy and paste it) is a sexual attraction to teddy bears. This fetish may be related to furrydom. Gee, I wonder how that fetish develops.. Maybe it was the Snuggle bear commercials. I used to have actual Snuggle bear teddy bear puppets. I don’t want to think about someone fucking them.

Fetish Friday – Trashbagging/Garbage Fetish
0I had never heard of this until I randomly came across a blog on Google. I’m not even sure what I was searching for.
Just as it sounds, some people are extremely aroused by garbage. Like any fetish, the details vary widely person to person. Some people really enjoy messy, decaying food garbage while the writer of the blog I discovered is only interested in recyclables and paper. In short, the writer of this particular blog enjoyed sleeping next to bags full of garbage, wearing garbage, and fantasizing about becoming garbage himself. In fact, it seems like most trashcan fetishists are most turned on by becoming garbage or being thrown away.

Fetish Friday – Gelding
0This one’s going to make the guys cringe. It was inspired by a conversation I had with an old friend today. You’ve been warned, and I apologize to the pain you feel in your balls while reading this.
Gelding is also known as castration. It can be categorized a few different ways. It falls under the umbrella categories of BDSM and Edge Play. This fetish is pretty rare. I’ve only come across one customer that was into it, and before that, I have no idea it existed. This was back when I started camming on LiveJasmin as a newb. From what I remember, he had some sort of prosthetic attachment that he actually sliced off with a butcher knife. I’ve looked for an online sex store that sells them, but I came up empty-handed. Let me clarify that I wasn’t looking for myself, but rather to show you guys.
Anyway, castration is mainly a punishment (or a gift, depending on your perspective) inflicted upon male slaves. The purpose is to deny the slave of any sexual release and focus all attention on the Dom/me. The idea is that the slave is better able to serve the dominant partner because they are no longer distracted by their own urges.
After castration, there are several physical and emotional consequences. The slave may begin to develop breasts and hips, have hot flashes, reversal of hair loss, loss of muscle mass, weight gain, softening of the hair and skin, and obviously, changes in ejaculation and erection. So hey, if you’re looking to regrow your hair.. just cut your balls off!
There are a few different types of castration. It can be done surgically, chemically, and bloodlessly.
With surgical castration, the testicles are removed by a doctor. Basically, the doctor slices into your balls and cuts them from the cord attaching them to your body.
Chemical castration is achieved by feeding the slave hormonal birth control meant for a female. Depo Provera and Androcur are both popular choices. The drugs inhibit the effects of testosterone and the “castration” is reversible.
Bloodless castration is performed using a Burdizzo. It’s a large clamp meant to crush the cords to the testicles. Eventually, the testes shrink in size and are reabsorbed by the body. This is mainly used to castrate bulls. Side note: I actually witnessed someone perform this on a bull in high school. Small towns..
Another castration style is using an Elastrator. This is what I pictured castration to be before I did the show I mentioned earlier. An Elastrator is a thick rubber band tied around the testicles so tightly that all blood is cut off and they essentially shrivel up and fall off.

Fetish Friday – Feminization
0Feminization is exactly what it sounds like. Sometimes it’s called sissification, but I personally think there’s a difference. I’ll write about that in another blog. Usually, feminization involves a submissive heterosexual male (although I’m sure androgynous and queer people could get their freak on with this fetish, please fill me in) and a straight, dominant female. There are various layers to this fetish, and some are more involved than others.
Some dommes force their sub to dress up in full costume, while some enjoy wearing stockings, garters and some makeup. In my experience, costumes usually range from domestic, like a maid uniform or an apron, to over-the-top, like a ballerina costume with a tutu.
Feminization often includes corporal punishment, like spanking, for breaking certain rules. These rules could be anything, but usually are for failing to cooperate with something related to the feminization, like the sub walking or sitting with poor posture.
The sub sometimes takes on a female name when assuming the female role. Pegging could also be involved in this fetish, as well as other female to male anal play.

Temperature Play is a BDSM practice. It’s exactly what it sounds like – the use of food or inanimate objects to heat up or cool down the skin. It’s really not all that kinky in my opinion. But, you know, I’m weird like that. It’s sort of related to sploshing in that hot wax, chocolate, ice, and other hot or cold foods or substances may be used. Also, anything that conducts heat or cold can be used, so materials like metal work as well. You could heat up your clover clamps and then clip them to your nipples. Hmm.. I’ll be back in a bit.
Another type of temperature play is called fire cupping. I don’t know much about the actual practice of fire cupping, as it’s something I’ve never done, so I’m going to quote the Wikipedia article:
Fire cupping
Fire cupping is a current fad in the fire play community. The air inside a cup (almost always glass) is heated then placed on the skin – the cooling air creates a vacuum and the skin is partially pulled into the cup. Experienced cuppers can create varying strengths of suction by controlling the heat of the cup.
Fire cupping was appropriated from traditional and holistic medicine communities. Cupping was used in Western medicine to encourage blood movement as recently as the Civil War. It is still used (often with the same name) by masseurs and in Chinese medicine (where it is said to have predated traditional needle acupuncture). For this reason, cupping sets can be found in some Asian stores. Some merchants will only sell sets to licensed massage therapists.
Methods include:
- Wiping alcohol directly on the skin and then quickly placing the cup over the area (frequently criticized as having a higher risk of burning the skin);
- Holding the cup over an open flame until it is warm and then applying it to cool skin (some people feel this is the safest – though some feel that heating the glass (rather than the air) causes room for additional danger. This is also the hardest method to beginners wishing to create a strong suction);
- Placing small disks with cotton balls soaked in alcohol on them onto the skin. The cotton is then ignited and a cup is placed over the disk.
- Applying fuel directly inside the cup – the cup is then usually put on the skin with the fuel still burning (the flame will quickly extinguish from want of oxygen).
Fire cupping typically leaves small, round marks on the body that may last for hours or for days. If a single area is cupped again and again, a deep bruise may form and not disappear for some time.
Fire cupping is often combined with blood play, and is then usually termed blood cupping. (This variant also comes from traditional medicine). The skin is pierced (commonly with needles or scalpels) before the cups are applied; the suction then draws blood out of the wound.
Bouncing and Streaking are two variations of fire play. These are also two things I’ve no experience with, so I’m going to defer to Wikipedia:
Bouncing/Streaking
The two most common fire play techniques are bouncing and streaking. In bouncing, lit fire wands (sometimes called batons; essentially a small torch) are bounced along the skin. This may or may not involve transfer of burning fuel.
In streaking, fuel is applied directly to the skin (commonly in straight lines, though sometimes in more elaborate patterns), lit, and then extinguished before the skin begins to burn. Frequently the fuel is applied to the skin with unlit fire wands, then ignited with a lit fire wands (sometimes double-headed wands or two wands are used to streamline the procedure).

0I picked teratophilia and acrotomophilia for this week’s Fetish Friday because of Anderson Cooper’s show this week. Fetish Friday – Pegging
0This is actually a repeat from my Tumblr that never made it to this website. It was pretty popular, even for weeks after it was posted, so I hope new and old visitors alike enjoy reading it again!!
We all know some guys like to have things shoved in their asses. Most of you guys have probably at least touched yourself down there. If you haven’t, you’re missing out.
Pegging is the term Dan Savage gave to women that fuck men with strap-ons. I know this grosses some of you out. I actually was not into it at all until someone I started dating told me they wanted to try it. Me, being the incredibly sexually curious girl that I am, decided to give it a try. I’m really glad I did, because it’s a lot of fun. I can’t remember where I read this, I think it was some women’s health article, but something like 70% of women surveyed said that they were much more satisfied with their sex lives since they started pegging.
Some people really get off on the dom/sub aspect of pegging. Generally, the female is seen as the dominant when she’s fucking the guy. Some guys really like to be forced to dress up femininely while they get fucked. Think stockings, panties and heels.
Most strap-ons have additional attachments for the female (mine has a butt plug and an additional dildo for me attached) so she can get off while she’s fucking the guy. I recently thought of buying a pair of vibrating panties or a bullet to wear while using a strap-on… I should probably do that.
I’ve found it’s best to use a strap-on when the guy is on all fours.
