Domino’s Damsels – Independent Cam Girl Listings

0

I posted this once before, but I’ve changed a few things (including the layout of the site!) and I’ve included the survey. Check out DominosDamsels.com to see all of the lovely camgirls waiting for you!

This one’s for the ladies. I’m starting a new (and completely free!) camgirl classifieds site with Tyler, the amazing guy that runs SexyLadyShow.com. Tyler has over 55,000 followers on Twitter and has an amazing reputation for promoting camgirls, thus getting them business. Between Tyler’s skill for networking and promoting you ladies and my constant need to keep busy and help others, I know it will be really successful.

My motivation for starting this site is largely selfish. I started doing mostly independent shows in 2010, after gathering a fairly loyal customer base from NiteFlirt and CamGirlsSites.com (CGS). Unfortunately, CGS has not been maintained for quite some time, and I’m tired of waiting for them to come around.

The site will be completely free to everyone. In the future, my plan is to offer payment processing, and there will be a small fee that goes along with that, but you will not be obligated to use my payment processor. You can enter your site URL and your instant messaging usernames, unlike some other sites. The whole purpose of this site is to get you more business without having to pay 70% of the money you earn to a cam site.

How it works
You’ll get your own profile page. On your page, all the answers from the survey will be listed as tags along with your contact information, pictures, and if you’d like, a short “About Me” paragraph or an intro video. Guys will be able to search for you based on what types of shows you offer, your age, and your looks and modifications. The site will be in the beta stages for a couple months while we build traffic, and I definitely need girls willing to test the site out. If you’re interested in being listed on the site from the very start, please email me at domino@dominoxxx.com.

What I need from you

  • Your stage name. Pick one and stick with it.
  • Your completed survey. Completed means you didn’t skip any questions.
  • A fan sign. This is to make sure you’re not a bot. Your stage name should be on the sign.
  • Five (5) pictures that best represent your looks and persona.
  • Your Skype, Yahoo, and MSN handles (if you want them listed) and/or your email.

The survey is a tool to help me categorize you on the site. For instance, if you offer fetish shows (bondage, watersports, etc.) then you should list what fetishes you offer. I am going to have a ratings system on the site so that guys can rate your show, so do your best!

Survey

Do you do anal? If sometimes, please say so.
How old are you? (your perceived age, doesn’t have to be your real age. if you’re 26 and people guess you to be 22, list 22.)
Are you willing to do watersports?
Are you willing to do various roleplays? list the ones you’re comfortable with.
Do you sell panties?
What is your breast size?
Do you shave? If partially, please say so.
Do you have any body modifications? (tattoos, piercings, implants, etc.)
What color is your hair?
Are there any special toys you own?
What messengers do you use? (skype, yahoo, msn, etc.)
Are you willing to do dom/sub roleplay?
Are there any fetishes you specialize in?
Is sound included in your shows?
What are your rates? (per minute, per 10 minutes, per 20 minutes, etc)
Do you have your own website? if so, what is the URL?
What nationality are you?
What times are you normally available?
Are you willing to be rated based on your service, accuracy of your ad, reliability, and performance?
What languages do you speak?

If you have any questions prior to signing up, feel free to email me at domino@dominoxxx.com. Happy Camming!

Tax Tips for Strippers and Cam Girls by Kevin Bachhuber

0

Kevin Bachhuber is a financial professional licensed to sell insurance and securities products in the state of Wisconsin.

Note: I am not a licensed tax professional, so my suggestions should be taken as suggestions. Talk to a CPA or other tax professional for your specific situation.

Second Warning: I try to make this as interesting as possible. Unfortunately, it is difficult to make any conversation about tax deductions anything but dry. I apologize in advance.

So, when talking about taxes, the key idea is maximizing your tax deductions. There’s a fairly large set of IRS caselaw relating to strippers and how they can qualify their expenses for tax deduction. It’s an expensive business; why add a giant tax bill if you don’t have to?

Tax Tip 1: Talk to a CPA. Most of the rest of this article should be considered with the help of a Certified Public Accountant. They’ll be able to help figure out what applies to you, what doesn’t, how/when to pay your taxes, and more.

Tax Tip 2: Incorporate! Corporations are people, so why not be a corporation? Most dancers and camgirls are independent contractors, so they can readily take advantage of incorporating into a sole proprietorship business. There are a number of advantages: business expenses (more on that later) may be tax deductible through the business, you can pay taxes quarterly, and you can provide yourself employee benefits.

Providing employee benefits (to yourself) can lower your tax bill significantly. The IRS has set up specific types of retirement accounts called Solo 401(k) plans that allow you to put up to $50,000 per year towards retirement. Depending on how you set up this account, that whole amount may be tax-deferred (meaning you don’t pay taxes until you withdraw the money during retirement). Additionally, you may be able to deduct the cost of premiums for any health insurance or disability insurance you provide for yourself.

You can register your business and get an Employee Identification Number here. Whether you incorporate into a sole proprietorship, LLC, S Corporation, or C Corporation will depend on your individual needs, and the incorporation process will depend on your state.

Tax Tip 3: Know what you can and cannot deduct. It’s incredibly expensive to be a stripper or a camgirl. You can use these business expenses to lower your taxable income. The most common tax deductions a stripper or camgirl may be able to claim include:

  • Work clothes. The IRS defines work clothes as something you purchase specifically for your job that you cannot wear outside of work. Most of your outfits, costumes, and shoes probably qualify. Hair, makeup, and nails are a little more questionable due to a set of archaic IRS definitions.
  • Travel and lodging: If you travel between clubs, or as part of a national circuit, you may be able to deduct the mileage and any hotel stays from your taxes. The IRS specifies that it has to be traveling from place of work to place of work, not from your home to your place of work.
  • Computer and webcams: If you’re a camgirl, your computer and webcam are considered business expenses.
  • Breast implants/augmentation: This one can be a little tricky. Chesty Love was the first stripper who successfully argued that her breast implants were business expenses. She was also able to show that her income quadrupled, the breasts were too big for personal use, and she would be removing them when she retired from stripping. If you can show a significant increase in income after the procedure, it may be deductible for you. (Source)
  • Housing: If you run a business from your home, and you have a specified area of it you use for work, you may be able to claim a percentage of your rent/mortgage and utilities as business expenses. It’s neat; a CPA can tell you more.
  • Club fees, cam fees, and other expenses: This is one of the hardest sets of deductions for most dancers to pull off, but it can be worth your while. Between entrance fees, paying the barstaff, cuts taken from lap dances, and other fees imposed by the club, many strippers will pay about ⅓ of their earnings right back to the strip club. Likewise, everybody takes a cut in the webcamming process. If you can keep records of how much you pay to the club or website, you may be able to deduct those fees.

Tax Tip 4: Keep the best records you can. I know most strip club owners are not exactly willing to provide you with records of when you’ve worked or how much you pay in club fees. Keep records of the days you worked, how much you paid in different types of fees, and how much you made. It’ll not only help you with your taxes, it’ll give you an idea of what your business cashflow is like, and data to support or disprove your assumptions. Strip and Grow Rich offers a really great inexpensive notebook you can purchase to help you keep track of this – here’s a link to purchase it.

Tax Tip 5: Donate to charity. And get receipts. Donations to charity are an awesome tax deduction. You get to help the larger community and reduce your tax bill at the same time. I’ll give a shout-out for the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom. They do a LOT of work for the benefit of the fetish, kink, and otherwise sexually awesome communities.

One more note on charitable donations: I’d recommend checking the charities you donate to with Charity Watch first. Make sure your money is being used to help people or causes, rather than paying too much to the leaders of the charity. Check out http://www.charitywatch.org/toprated.html.

Rebecca Avalon of Strip and Grow Rich also did a video on how to file taxes. You can check it out on her website.

My Makeup Addiction

0

Hi, my name is Domino, and I have a makeup addiction. I’m not as bad as some girls, but I buy a ton of makeup. I even accept Sephora eGiftcards as payment for cam shows. The people at MAC and Sephora know me by name. On any given day, I have on primer, concealer, foundation, eyeshadow primer, eyeliner, eyelash primer, mascara, eyeshadow, blush, eyebrow gel, lip primer, lip pencil, lipstick, lip gloss, and bronzing powder. It’s kind of ironic that usually, we wear makeup to make it look like we aren’t wearing makeup.

As both a dancer and a camgirl, a ton of effort goes into my appearance. First, I have to decide what colors and kinds of makeup I want to wear. Usually, I stick to neutral tones or smoky eyes on weeknights, because middle-aged men tend to come in those nights, and most of them aren’t into freaky eye makeup. Bright colors are reserved for Fridays, Saturdays, and special holidays, like St. Patrick’s Day. The whole process of applying my makeup takes about 5-10 minutes on a weeknight and about 20 on a Friday or Saturday.

I don’t think a lot of the guys really understand a woman’s lust for makeup. We feel about makeup the way many men feel about porn. Of course, there are always us girls who love our porn, too. So, purveyors of strip clubs and cam shows, next time you notice that a girl looks amazing, compliment her! We look amazing because we love to spend money on makeup just for you.

For the ladies reading that don’t want to invest a ton of money into expensive makeup, check out these brands: ELF (available at Target), Coastal Scents (their 88 color palettes are about $20) and Wet n Wild (aptly named!). Please forgive my mess in the pictures! Also forgive the horrible photo taking. I never said I was a good photographer!

Sorry about the absenteeism!

0

Sorry about the lack of updates this past week. As most of you know, I was on a working vacation in Phoenix, Arizona. I checked out Babe’s Cabaret and I got to meet my stripping mentor, Rebecca Avalon, the owner of Strip and Grow Rich.

I also went to a couple Milwaukee Brewers Spring Training games. I got my photo taken with Craig Counsell when he was on his way up to the press box. He didn’t say much, but he seemed like a really awesome guy. He’s incredibly tall. I also caught a ball from George Kottaras, but I gave it to a kid. I already have tons of Brewers memorabilia, so I share with kids when I get a chance. Insert random cute “aww” noise here.

Of course, as soon as I got home I found myself sick again. Probably all the jackasses sneezing and coughing without covering their faces. Seriously, that should be a rule.

Anyway, I’m taking a short break from camming for a while. I’m going to mix it up with dancing for a bit, because I know I’m not going to be able to do that for a long time after my knee surgery. If you spot me on Skype or Yahoo, feel free to ask if I’m doing shows, because I’m certainly open to it if I’m in the mood!

Fuuuuuuuuuck!

1

This is going to be a two-part blog. The first part is the “Fuuuuuuuck!” part. The second part is by request and about how I “came out” to my friends and family about stripping and camming. I got some good/bad news today about my health.

I’ve had something wrong with my knee since about 2007. It’s been swollen and sore, but it’s gotten progressively worse over the last year. I’m sure walking around in 7 inch heels doesn’t help. It’s especially bad when I kneel on it or have my leg in the same position for a prolonged period of time. Anyways, I had an MRI done last summer, and they didn’t see anything. I’ve had x-rays done, I’ve seen several sports medicine doctors.. no answers. Finally, I couldn’t stand it anymore and called the last sports medicine doctor I saw and asked what the hell was wrong with me. She said my tibia appeared to be somewhat displaced, probably because of my Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. I also have a very mild case of Scoliosis, which explains the awful pain I have in my hips from time to time.

I saw a surgeon today, and I finally got some answers. Apparently, I have something weird going on with my meniscus. It may be congenital, but it may be due to an injury. Either way, I wouldn’t be surprised. I’m planning on scheduling surgery sometime at the end of May, and I’m going to be unavailable for shows for several weeks. Of course, I will not be dancing for at least a few months, I’m guessing. I’m going to be in rehab for at least three months. So, get your Domino fix while you can, because I’m not going to be available for anything other than paid chat and phone only chat on NiteFlirt.

On to the second part of the blog.

Like I said before, I started stripping in January 2010. My family and friends knew I was miserable in my day job. When I quit to become a stripper, I told them straight out what I was doing. I’ve always been an incredibly open, sexual person. I even came out to my family as bisexual when I was a teenager. They were not surprised. They seemed slightly shocked, but overall, my immediate family was very accepting of it. At least on the surface. I think they judged me behind my back, but I didn’t really care anyway. My grandpa was incredibly supportive, being the capitalistic guy he is.

I did lose several Facebook friends when I came out as a dancer and camgirl. Eventually, I even got kicked off Facebook. I’m still not sure why, but I’m assuming a “friend” was really a judgmental, jealous or insecure hater and reported me for some reason. Again, I didn’t really care what they thought. My approach on it is if they are going to judge me or think I’m a bad person because of my job, fuck them. I don’t want them in my life anyways.

People do things every day that are way “worse” than being a sex worker. People marry for money. They beat and starve their children.  They pretend to be a friend when really, they’re quick to speak horribly of the person behind their backs. They sell drugs. If you’re going to make the argument that a sex worker is a bad person because of their career choice, couldn’t you make the argument that a bartender that knowingly serves an alcoholic is a bad person?

When I’m telling new people about my job now, depending on the situation, I either leave out the sex work part, or I tell them I’m a freelance graphic designer. It’s really not a boldfaced lie, it’s just a white lie.

If I were meeting a boyfriend’s parents for the first time, and they were pretty straight-laced people, I’d tell them I did freelance graphic design until I knew for sure that they wouldn’t judge me in such a way that would be detrimental to my new relationship. If I’m meeting a new boyfriend’s friends or new friends of my own, I’m totally straightforward about my job. If they treat me differently because of it, I don’t want to waste my time with them anyway.

I can’t really offer any other advice other than be yourself. If the people you surround yourself have a problem with what you do and who you are, you deserve to be around better people, family or not.

Cam Girl Code of Conduct

0

Recently, I’ve heard from a lot of people asking me what I think the Camgirl Code of Conduct should be. Some of the guys out there may not like hearing this, so I apologize for that. I thought that was a great idea, because when I started camming, I wanted to know what people expected of me and what I should be careful about. Here are the rules that I live by:

1. Don’t sacrifice your comfort level for a potential show. If some guy wants you to do an incest roleplay show, and that totally weirds you out, you are completely in the right to turn it down. If you know of a girl that is okay with that sort of roleplay, do both of them a favor and refer your customer to her. This brings me to my second rule..

2. Don’t promise to do something in a show and not follow through. Not only are you making yourself look like a douche, you’re giving all of us camgirls a bad reputation. If the customer asked ahead of time if you do anal, and you say yes, it’s implied that anal is included in your price. Don’t wait until the show has begun to say anal is extra. You’re doing yourself a disservice by not creating repeat business. You’re only hurting your own income by not following through.

3. Don’t badmouth other camgirls. It’s unprofessional and it makes you look insecure. Not to mention, it’s very rude. If you don’t like another girl’s style, or she puts up a bad photo, and you feel the need to vent about it, talk to your friends in real life. Don’t attack her on a social networking site. You will look like an insecure troll.

4. Don’t beg. This is a two way street. We don’t like it when guys come into our room and beg us to “open tits” or “show pussy bb”, so why would the guys like it when you post a blog or a tweet about how your rent is short, your power got shut off, blah blah blah? Plus, it makes you look like you’re not in demand. People aren’t going to buy shows from you if it looks like no one is already paying for your shows. It implies that your shows are not worth paying for.

5. Don’t give fans or customers your personal information. This is common sense. Even if they beg for it, don’t do it. You never know when someone is going to end up stalking you. I will admit that I’ve become good friends with some customers, but it wasn’t until I felt 100% comfortable with them that I was willing to chat with them outside of work. Once you decide to cross that bridge with them, assume they are no longer a customer. Think hard about it before you sacrifice that income.

6. If you must break rule #5, sell your information. Make a Google Voice account and sell your phone number that way. Make an email specifically for your stage name.

7. Don’t be afraid to ban or block guys. If a guy is harassing you, begging, trying to chat you up for free, or seems to be a timewaster, he probably is. Firmly, but politely, ask him what you can do for him. If he says “I just wanted to chat”, tell him you charge $__ for 20 minutes of chat time. Or you could ask if he’d like to know what your rates are for shows. You’re in control of the situation. If he dodges your questions, it’s pretty safe to say he’s a timewaster.

8. Be careful of payment methods that give away your personal information. Paypal is the big one. If you’re going to use Paypal (I advise against it, they are not adult friendly and they will freeze your funds and ban you for life!) create a merchant account. This way, when a customer pays you, they see your business name. If you just use your buyer/seller Paypal account, it will give the person your real first and last name. Google Checkout and Amazon Payments give out your first and last names, too. Accept money through NiteFlirt, MFC, AlertPay, or CCBill to be safe. Also, don’t use ChipIn to raise money for a boob job. If you must, be vague, and say “surgery”. If they catch you, you’ll get kicked out of Paypal.

9. Have plenty of photos and videos available on your website for potential customers. This will help your business. Don’t give away the good stuff – just a short intro video talking about you will give them an idea of your persona. People watch videos more than they read. Customers are inevitably going to want to see photos of you before they buy. Set aside a few good ones that you don’t want to sell (or if you do, put a lower quality version up) to put up on your website.

10. Create a blog post about how to buy a show from you. It’s so much easier than explaining to each customer how to buy a show from you and what you do/don’t do. Include your rates, payment methods, what you do and don’t do, your personal rules, and what toys and outfits you have.

11. Think of a stage name that is easy to pronounce and remember. If your customers can’t remember your name or how to pronounce it, it’s not going to do you any good. You want them to tell their friends. You also want something that can be easily googled.
