Sexual arousal from being robbed or burglarized.A type of sexual fetishism in which the subject is aroused from being the victim of a robbery or burglary. The word comes from the Greek word ἅρπαξ, harpax, “robber” and -philia, “love”. Harpaxophilia is also sometimes called chrematistophilia from the Greek chremistes, “a moneydealer”; which can also include sexual arousal by having to pay for sex.
I’m not sure where I stumbled upon this one. When I first read about it, I figured that this is primarily a female fetish. Then I found out about the Alfred Hitchcock movie “Marnie”. I think they’re playing on the fetish, but the actual fetish itself is arousal from being robbed, not robbing.
Harpaxophilia may also play into voyeurism, based on what I’ve read in erotic literature. Before breaking in, the robber watches the female undress. Usually, in the literature, the female is at home alone and a male sneaks into her house and robs (and sometimes rapes) her. The female is inexplicably aroused by this.

0Sorry I’ve been quiet this week. It’s been an incredibly busy week with photo shoots and video bookings and whatnot. I finally got some advance notice on a booking! It seems like everything in the TV and film production industry is incredibly last minute. I’ll be in Los Angeles the week of May 20 for a shoot. If you’re a photographer or producer interested in working with me, please contact me so we can set something up. I’m willing to do TFCD if I really like your work, otherwise I’m only interested in paid shoots. If you’re interested in shooting a video scene, I do require that you book through my agency. Fetish Friday – Ursusagalmatophilia
0Ursusagalmatophilia (I can’t even type that out, I had to copy and paste it) is a sexual attraction to teddy bears. This fetish may be related to furrydom. Gee, I wonder how that fetish develops.. Maybe it was the Snuggle bear commercials. I used to have actual Snuggle bear teddy bear puppets. I don’t want to think about someone fucking them.
I remember when I first got the internet back in 1997 (yeah, I’m old) and I was browsing AskJeeves.com. Somehow, I came across a list of fetishes. Being the curious twelve year old that I am (uh, was) I had to click on every single one and read about it. Maybe that’s why I write these today. Anyways, I came across some guy’s blog about “plushies”. Basically, it was him talking about different stuffed animals and why he liked them. The blog was complete with a picture of each plushie covered in his spooge. I’m happy to see his blog is still alive and kicking. Good for him.

I’m Auditioning for PlayboyTV!
0Good news! I was invited to audition for PlayboyTV this Friday! They’re doing a new Mythbusters-esque show about sex called “The Truth About Sex”. Since I’m a huge science nerd working in the adult industry, I think it’s perfect for me. They’re going to prove or debunk certain urban legends, like “If a man has big feet, does that mean he has a big penis?” and “Can a woman orgasm just by thinking about it?”. I think it’s a great idea, and I’m excited for the opportunity to be a part of it! I’ll keep you guys posted.
Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Awareness Month
0May is EDS awareness month. Those of you that follow me closely know that I have Joint Hypermobility Disorder or Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome type III, so creating awareness is important to me. Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome is a connective tissue disorder. If you watch TV, you may remember it from this episode of House MD. To put it simply, EDS causes all sorts of health complications. I’m incredibly flexible, but not really in a fun sort of way. More in a doing-yoga-is-very-bad-for-me kind of way. Because of my freakish flexibility, I suffer chronic joint pain. I’ve lived with this pain since I was about 8 years old. It gets increasingly severe as I age. EDS has caused me to have “soft” fracture-prone bones, Restless Leg Syndrome, scoliosis, flat feet, loose joints, early onset osteoarthritis, bone spurs, dysautonomia, myalgia, abnormal wound healing, and it’s caused several other health complications. Because of EDS, I’m prone to chest and sinus infections. In other words, I’m sick a lot.
I was born with the disorder and I wasn’t diagnosed until I was 23. It is an autosomal dominant genetic disorder found in 1 of every 10-15,000 people. There are several different types ranging in severity of symptoms. Luckily, I have the most common and least severe version.
Unfortunately, there is a much more serious version of EDS- type 4. The people that have this type suffer from organ rupture, premature labor, and serious heart complications, including mitral valve prolapse. The people affected by this type have a life expectancy of 40 years.

Summer Raffle – Brewers Game
0It’s been a little while since I’ve done a date raffle and I wanted to give one lucky fan the chance to win an all expenses paid date with me to a Milwaukee Brewers game!
